Highlights 2012

Some of the highlights of 2012, biggest moments, something worth remembrance.

Yaya's 10th Birthday.

My auntie was awarded the Professor Emeritus.

Adik was top of her class.

And some great places we've visited, either for work purposes or just makan angin.

That's it. Those are the highlights of the year. Alhamdulillah, it was one great year indeed. Hope this year will be greater.

Goodbye 2012

In just a few hours or so, another year will ends. 2012 has been a great one...and a tough one indeed. I faced a lot of challenge, lot of new things to learn and absorb. Lot of th
ings to catch up. Lot of times spent working. Juggling time, tried to devide time equally between work and family. In doing so, most of the nights I have to stay up until late. There were times I felt so stressed, until I felt I wanted to puke. There were times I felt I want to ignore all job related works.

Nonetheless, I have gained and achieved many great things. Learned new knowledge, new techniques. Acquired new skills. Met new and great peoples. On mundane side, I think I've improved many things. Besides that I've managed both the housechores, and kids. Tried the very best to make everyone happy. Kids too got their best shares. So overall, all went well, and no matter how hard it seemed to be at first, it ended quite well. Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah for a great year.

Of weddings, and travelling

Oh wow....finally I have time to write something. Alhamdulillah, it's the end of the semester, finally. Ntah kenapa, kali nie bila habis aje kuliah, rasa lega sangat-sangat. Banyak betul benda nak kena buat semester nie. 

Cuti sekolah, hmm, the kids spend a lot of their time playing computer games. Although I have prepared schedule for yaya, sometimes she adhere to it, sometimes she doesn't. Susah nak monitor when I'm not around. Takpe la, bagi chance la kat kakak, naik sekolah nie den hantar gi tuisyen, kena buat latih tubi banyak-banyak. hahahahahah... agaknye anak sulung camtu kot, nak kena cucuk tiap2 hari. Kalau tak dia buat tak endah aje. Adik, tak payah citer laaa, tiba mood nak baca buku, dia baca berjam2, tapi bila mood ilmiah tu hilang, cakap berbuih2 pun, dia bolayan aje....

Cuti sekolah, banyak juga wedding invitation. I see this as an opportunity for travelling. Three of my cousins, got married on this school holiday. Two in Taiping, one in JB. We managed to go to one of my counsins wedding in Taiping. Dah lame tak balik Taiping. My late father was brought up there, my grandparents house is at Kg. Jana, but both my grandparents have passed away. The kampung house is now under the care of my tok cik, my grandpa remarried to her. However, we stayed at Taiping Golf Resort during the visit. OK laaa.... tapi macam tak maintain aje tempat tu. Sad but true. 

A week after that, my ex-classmate got married. This is another opportunity to meet long lost friends. And just on this recent weekends, we went up to Genting Highlands. I attended a conference. The organiser hosted the event at Awana Genting Resort, so we stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights. We went to the theme park. Tapi orang kat atas tu, ramai gilerr..... adoii... but the view is as usual, subhanAllah, breathtaking. The last time we went up there was when I was pregnant with my first child, yaya. The mist was heavy, sampaikan the outdoor park was closed. Sib baik beli tiket for two days and two parks unlimited. Itupun nak naik rides kena beratur about 15 to 20 minutes la. Giler gigih beratur.

Next, we have several more planned travelling. Lepas tu, back to school laaa....

Jangan berhenti untuk bermimpi...

Diriwayatkan dari Abu Sa’id al-Khudri RA; Bahawa telah bersabda Nabi SAW: “Tidak ada seorang Muslim yang membaca doa di mana tiada pada doanya itu hal-hal yang menimbulkan dosa dan memutuskan hubungan silaturrahim melainkan Allah pasti akan memberikan kepada orang itu dengan doanya salah satu dari tiga macam. Adakalanya Allah segera memperkenankan doanya. Adakalanya doanya itu dijadikan oleh Allah

 sebagai simpanan pahala di akhirat. Dan adakalanya Allah memalingkan dan menghindarkan sebarang kejahatan (bala dan bencana) daripada orang tersebut sesuai dengan doanya.” Berkata para sahabat: Kalau begitu lebih baik kita memperbanyakkan doa! Nabi SAW bersabda: Allah SWT akan memperbanyakkan pemberian-Nya. (Hadis riwayat Imam Ahmad dan al-Hakim)

Demam kerana emosi

Sekarang nie demam Adam dan Hawa. Adeh ntah kenapa aku jadik terlebih emosi pulak bila tengok citer nie. Buku dia aku dah baca 3 kali. Hahahah..pecah rekod la nie, tak pernah aku baca buku mengulang gitu, dalam masa 1 bulan, aku boleh baca 3 kali. Paling kuat pun aku mengulang buku 2 kali, itupun makan tahun juga baru aku baca lagi sekali. Sampai my hunny bunny cemuih bila tengok aku ngadap buku tu aje. Hahahahha....

Terkenang

Semenjak dua menjak nih, untuk beberapa minggu, untuk beberapa hari dalam seminggu, untuk beberapa jam dalam sehari, untuk beberapa minit dalam sejam, untuk beberapa saat dalam seminit, aku teringat kehidupan di Brisbane. Banyak kali aku 'menziarahi' rumah sewaan kami di sana di dalam mimpi. Isshhh tanda apa pulak nih. Rindu agaknye. Dan baru hari nie, setelah sekian lame, makan bulan juga nih, baru bukak blog nie, dan tergerak hati untuk membaca catatan kecil aku ketika di sana.

Rindu rasanya.... nak2 sekrang di sana musim bunga.

Muhasabah diri: Sentiasa mensyukuri apa yang ada

Firman Allah SWT yang maksudnya: “Dan ingatlah tatkala Tuhanmu memaklumkan sesungguhnya jika kamu bersyukur pasti Kami akan menambah nikmat kepadamu dan jika kamu mengingkari (nikmat-Ku) maka sesungguhnya azab-Ku sangat pedih” (Ibrahim:7). 

Kengkawan, tanya pada diri kita kenapa orang lain lebih, kita tak. Mesti ada sebabnya. Kita selalu nampak yang lebih pada orang, tak nampak yang lebih pada kita. Pandang pada orang yang kurang supaya kita dapat mensyukuri nikmat yang ada. Pandang pada orang yang lebih supaya kita akan sentiasa sedar bahawa ada yang lebih baik dari kita. Sesungguhnya Allah itu maha adil, tak ada yang lebih tak ada yang kurang, cuma kita sahaja yang enggan 'melihatnya'.

Dari Abu Hurairah r.a katanya, Rasulullah SAW bersabda: “Apabila kamu melihat seseorang dikurniakan kelebihan dengan harta melimpah-limpah dan dengan kecantikan, maka lihatlah pula kepada orang yang serba kekurangan”.
