Ramadhan 1432: the Pain

Yesterday, the 5th of Ramadhan, abah again was admitted, this time because of the excruciating pain on his back. He has been suffering from the back pain for the past three weeks, hmmm or maybe a month now. The reason for that is unknown, he didn't fall down for sure. Probably because of the medicine that now he has to endure. Abah has to take 16 pills twice a day, and that brings to a total of 32 pills a day. He has this big box of plastic container that store all his pills. Aku sendiri tengok pun pening dan serabut. Kesian abah.



My brother sent him to the hospital yesterday. According to Mak, abah couldn't get up. He has to use a walking stick nowadays, most of the time he would rest on the bed, everyday. I could sense his is uncomfortable, kejap kang ngiring kanan, kejap kang ngiring kiri, kejap kang telentang. All of this is because of his back pain. Doc can only give him painkiller to kill the pain. But it doesn't work. So abah has to ask for an injection to ease the pain.

So yesterday, he was admitted. An x-ray was taken, but there is nothing broken. All the doc could say is because he is losing blood. Since April, this is the third time abah was admitted. He had suffered a few heart attacks. At one time, a few of his major organ is not working properly (his lung, kidney, and heart). And of course, his stomach has long gone not functioning normally. Doc suspect that his C is spreading. For yesterday, doc can only assumed that the C has spread to the bone. According to the doc, there is only one way to determine that, by doing a bone marrow test. For now, doc can only determined that the cause of the back pain is the loss of blood. I really hope it is.

I hope abah will recover soon. Please pray for him.
